The Rare and Precious Metals Production Line of Indonesia's Amman Copper Smelting Project, with China Nerin Providing Engineering Design and Technical Services, Goes into Operation Smoothly

On July 15, the Indonesia's Amman Copper Smelting Project, for which China Nerin undertook the entire plant's engineering design and supplied some proprietary equipment, successfully cast its first "1-kilogram standard gold ingot," with a purity of 99.995%, meeting the internationally recognized standards set by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). This breakthrough not only signifies the full commissioning of the project's rare and precious metals production line but also marks the complete integration of the entire smelting plant's processes, representing a milestone moment in the project's construction history.

Following the production of this rare and precious metals production line, the owner, Amman Group, is expected to see substantial precious metal output, providing a strong impetus for its development in the precious metals sector and significantly enhancing its market competitiveness.

Looking back at the critical stages of the rare and precious metals plant's construction, the project team of China Nerin demonstrated a high sense of responsibility and professionalism. The team members remained steadfast in their positions, took initiative, and consistently provided high-quality services. They promptly communicated and coordinated with all parties involved in the project, swiftly overcoming technical challenges and resolving equipment malfunctions, among other issues. This ensured the smooth achievement of key milestones in gold ingot casting and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent full-scale commissioning of the project.

Since undertaking the project, China Nerin has assembled a professional technical task force dedicated to meticulous design, process technology research and development, and intelligent equipment manufacturing. Throughout the project's progression, China Nerin collaborated closely with the owner, Amman Group, the project's general contractor, China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), and relevant entities, working together to overcome difficulties and providing technical services throughout the construction period to safeguard the plant's commissioning.

Notably, the project employs advanced "rotation-suspension smelting + rotation-suspension converting" copper smelting technology, making it the world's first full-process copper smelting project overseas to adopt China's advanced "dual rotation-suspension" technology and proprietary equipment. It is capable of processing complex copper concentrates and boasts significant advantages in terms of high efficiency, intelligence, and environmental performance. China Nerin also supplied the project with rotation-suspension smelting furnace and rotation-suspension converting furnace featuring core patented technologies, as well as NDI digital and intelligent solutions products such as central integrated DCS intelligent control system, plant-wide intelligent monitoring, and intelligent expert system.

By adopting these innovative technologies and equipment, the project has successfully achieved its goals of constructing a green, low-carbon, modern, and intelligent copper smelting plant with cost-effective investment, leading operational costs, and advanced environmental indicators. This not only serves as a testament to China Nerin's technological prowess but also provides a "Nerin Solution" for the in-depth utilization and sustainable development of mineral resources in the global non-ferrous metals industry.
